Friends, in conjunction with South by Southwest, is offering guided canoe rides for folks who are new to river boating. Each canoe will have an experienced paddler in it along with 1 rider. There will be two runs, one at 8 and the other at 10:30. Each lasts about an hour and a half.

The cost will be $15. Your park entrance fee has been pre-paid. We begin at the the day use - river access point (RAP) of Dead Horse Ranch State Park at 8AM and 10:30AM. This is at the bottom of Owl Rd. If you have not checked in 30 minutes prior to your launch departure time you will likely loose your space on this paddle.
